I just opened up theknot.com and was blown away by this color combination of fuchsia and navy, it is bold but yet so classy. I hope I see it in some upcoming 2009 weddings.

Celebrating 10 Years

Today is a beautiful sunny day just like 10 years ago when my sister Angie married her love Jason. Congratulations you guys! A great 10 years of marriage and two beautiful little girls later, something to strive for.

My New Little Guy

It took me a little bit to get around to posting about my new little boy, but I couldn't wait anymore, so while he is sleeping I'm quickly putting this together. My hubby and I have been blessed with a beautiful amazing little boy and life is definitely changing but for the best.

All in one swoop I have accomplished two large goals that I had for myself...becoming a mother and becoming a stay at home mom and running my business full time. Life is good!

Once I have a schedule (well, some what of a schedule) I would love to start setting up some coffee dates to keep my sanity, let me know if you'd be interested.

These office hours are for phone calls and appointments, please feel free to email me at anytime. If an appointment time is needed outside of these hours please contact me to make special arrangements.

My Inspiration

Sitting at my desk I look up at my "inspiration board", which is just a fabric/ribbon board that I put things on that make me smile. I just realized that the majority of the items on it on pictures of me and my amazing hubby. How much more inspired can I be helping other brides plan for their big day that will lead into marriage and hope that they can find what I have in my own marriage. So just a word of thanks to my man for always being there for me, taking care of me and being oh so supportive along the way.

McIntosh Orchards

I had such a great time spending the day yesterday with one of my upcoming brides, Keri. Her May wedding will kick off my season this year and what a kick off it is going to be. Keri and her fiance Mike are getting married in an apple orchard in South Haven MI. The ceremony is going to be under some old apple trees in blossom, last May I posted some pics of the orchard in bloom (here). The cocktail hour & reception are going to be held on the wrap around porch and in the orchard's winery building. While visiting the orchard, McIntosh Orchard & Winery, I snapped some pictures of the before, can't wait to see the after results!!

The winery will be opening up again for the season on April 1st, if you are into wine tasting you must check them out. They make everything on site and from all Michigan fruits, from apples to cherries, to peaches and blackberries, very yummy!!! Oh yes, and don't forgot the apple dumplings and apple cider donuts while you are there!
